The Home Bound Private Duty Agency was created in response to requests for personalized assistance in the comfort of home. Our mission is to provide professional, multidisciplinary services which enhance our clients` quality of life and support an independent lifestyle. In addition to skilled and personal care, we also provide case management, counseling and pre-legal services.
To ensure that we employ the highest quality staff at Home Bound, we screen each prospective RN, LPN, CNA and Homemaker in a comprehensive process including:
- Illinois Department of Professional Regulation license checks for nurses
- Health Care Worker Registry check for CNA`s
- Illinois State Police background checks
- Complete reference checks
- Full Employment Application Review
Our staff members are employed directly by Home Bound Healthcare and are not performing contracted services. This avails our clients of the peace of mind of knowing they or their loved ones are covered by a comprehensive insurance policy in the event of any unforeseen accident. This also allows for us to ensure the highest level of both initial and ongoing training for all individuals sent into our clients` homes. Because it takes a special person to perform the important duties required by our clients, we only hire staff members that we would feel entirely comfortable sending to our own home.
As a member of the National Private Duty Association, the National Association of Geriatric Care Managers, and a certified member of the Home Caregiver`s Accreditation of America, we are committed to enhancing the physical, emotional and social well-being of our clients and their families.
